Canada's Tax Fighter. Entrepreneur. Broadcaster. Marketing Expert.
In 1983, Kevin J. Johnston watched the Canada Revenue Agency take away a significant portion of his parents' wealth. That experience changed his life forever.
The same year, he began studying Canadian tax law and built the foundation for what would become more than four decades of tax research and strategy.
Kevin learned computer programming on the Commodore 64 in the 1980s and worked in bulletin board and advertising systems for the early video game industry. He became a professional disc jockey between the ages of 18 and 21. His voice and marketing talent quickly led to voiceover work with 31 radio stations in the early 1990s.
Kevin built major marketing campaigns for the Ottawa Rough Riders, Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and the CFL Head Office. He worked with major brands including Zippo Lighters while travelling between Canada and the United States.
Kevin moved to the United States in 1995 and worked as a District Marketing Manager for Hewlett-Packard. He lived and worked in 11 major American cities. During that time, he also completed contract design and marketing work for the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League.
Kevin returned to Canada in 2000 and immediately began creating promotional and marketing campaigns for Molson. He expanded his studies beyond tax law into corporate law, criminal law, business strategy, and asset protection.
Kevin founded FreedomReport.ca in December 2016 and built one of Canada's largest independent online broadcasting platforms. He ran for Mayor of Mississauga in 2018 and finished second.
He released five books between 2021 and 2024, including his best-selling title Masks Are Bullshit, which debunked the entire COVID scam. He continues to speak publicly on taxation, government policy, entrepreneurship, and financial freedom.
Kevin permanently moved to Panama in 2024 and built a business valued at more than $6 million in under 18 months. He has assisted Canadians in moving more than $60 million into Panamanian banking and investment opportunities. He has helped clients recover or retain more than $400 million through tax planning, corporate restructuring, and dispute resolution.
Kevin studies Canadian tax law every day. He helps business owners solve CRA tax debt, GST/HST problems, payroll remittance issues, corporate debt, and asset protection challenges. He specializes in corporate acquisitions, international banking, Panama relocation strategies, tax planning, and business restructuring.
